A reminder to all who have received a renewal email notice that you have 31 days before your access to the databases will cease. We have had members who found themselves at New Year's family gatherings wanting to check things on the database and found that they could not. So get them in early.
Reminder that there are a few spaces left on the Bus Tour for Lancaster County still available. As these are on a first come first serve basis, you might want to send in your reservations for the meeting, tour, and dinner.
Lois Mast has offered to host the April 19-20, 2024 meeting.
Friday the tour will leave from the Shady Maple Smorgasbord 129 Toddy Dr, East Earl, PA 17519 (40,11774, -76.03158)
Saturday we will meet at the Conestoga Mennonite Church 2779 Main St, Morgantown, PA 19543 (40.15153, -75.90610)

As of June 12th, Twenty-seven registrations have already been received for SAGA 2024, and the bus for Friday to Berks County is almost half-full. Registrants hail from PA, OH, MI, AZ, LA, and KS so far.
PA Turnpike Tolls are high (Ohio line to Morgantown (298) is $85.20 or $41.80 with E-ZPass)

Ez-pass costs do vary by state. OH is something like $10/year. Virginia is free. If you have a child living in a state where ez-pass is free ask them to give you one for Christmas. :-) It makes travel so much easier! Also note that Ohio no longer has gates on their toll booth lanes. A properly mounted Ez-pass will allow you to continue on through without stopping. PA Ez-pass has lanes which allow you to maintain a 55-60 mph speed past the tolling station.
