We’re here at the SAGA meeting in Pennsylvania and we heard that the SAGA listserve is working, so here goes … It seems on the SAGA bus tour today that there are several people who were fellowdescendants of Isaac Kauffman (born 1685) and Anna Streit. Isaac and some of his kids were 1737 immigrants in the Virtuous Grace. My question is what happened to Anna Streit? We read somewhere that she died in 1730. However, others say she was buried in Somerset County, PA. So did she immigrate with her husband Isaac. And when and where did she die? Any source citations? We also can’t get definitive word about when her husband Isaac died and where.
