Another important work has been published:
ANABAPTISTS AT STRASBOURG - A(ugspurger) to Z(Zimmermann): A Source Book for Napoleonic France Volumes 1-3. by Dr. Neil Ann Stuckey Levine.
This three volume genealogy is a life-time work of research and writings by the author. It places into proper historical context not generations of one Anabaptist family but the cluster of families who made up the community of members in and around Strasbourg, France from the late 18th Century to the mid 1830s, but especially during the Napoleonic era.
The 1,130 pages are documented at times with extensive footnotes. Plus the 235 photographs (mostly in color) add to the value of this encyclopedia. It also has a lengthy index with births and death dates of most names that assist in finding the correct person.
Cost: $98.00 plus $9.00 shipping and $5.88 PA sales tax. This is available via Masthof Press. Save shipping if you visit their store during our Annual Meeting later April 18-20.
