Last year's Annual Meeting in Lancaster County PA featured a fabulous tour of historic sites of interest.  I have received inquiries afterwards from members who could not make the meeting if there were any transcriptions from the meeting.

For those who missed the bus tour, Masthof Press in the current April 2025 issue of Mennonite Family History has published the presentation of the Hochstetler massacre.  The article, The Hochstetler Attack:  Life on the Eastern Pennsylvania Frontier by DR. Jeffrey and Sharon (Weaver) Vitter will be of interest to all.  It even includes a photo of the SAGA tour group visiting the site.

If you don't subscribe to the Mennonite Family History, a single copy is available for $6.00  from Mastof at 219 Mill Road, Morgantown, PA 19543-9516 [tel: 610-286-0258]

For new members to SAGA and genealogy, this publication is one of the best for doing genealogy research.  Indexes are available of past articles.  And not to leave anyone out, I should also include Pennsylvania Mennonite History as another resource.    Both publications/organizations provide published family histories and related information all available from online catalogs.

One last thing, it is still not too late to make plans and reservations to this year's Annual Meeting in Elkhart, IN.
Hoosierly Yours,
