We often get notifications for approval for postings coming from non-members.  Most of these are just junk mail hacks. However, I have encountered twice postings that came because a member gave them the listserv address to ask questions for the ListServ.   Not wanting to determine if a posting is legit or not, I do not approve ANY nonmember's post.  It keeps me and SAGA from any accusations that we favor or judge anyone's posting. If your friend, family member, or acquaintance has a legitimate question or announcement that would benefit the membership, YOU must post the announcement yourself or have that person become a member.
