Berks County Bus Tour
For those who could not make the annual meeting, I have attached a photocopy of the bus tour program. Later I believe we will receive some photos of the sites covered in the program.
When I have time, I will try and do the handouts that were given during the annual meeting presentations.
We have been asked for videos or summaries of our annual meeting and we are looking into this for the future. Hope you find this worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who was responsible for the planning and execution of this event. It was a very productive time, worth every nickel, mile and minute! I am definitely planning a further visit to Lancaster/Berks for additional time in the archives and learning from those of you who are so much more immersed in the Amish/Mennonite/Swiss Brethren heritage than I.

Hello all: I am reaching out on behalf of the Pennsylvania chapter of Palatines to America (I'm on their board). They are planning their national conference next summer in Lancaster, and have been soliciting proposals for workshops. They would very much like to include a speaker on Amish/Mennonite genealogy, but they have not had any luck with responses to their call for proposals. I gave them Edsel Burdge's contact information but so far they can't reach him.
The deadline is about to expire, and I am reaching out in case you can steer me to anyone that might be a possible presenter. We have a Zoom meeting tomorrow, and unless I can offer a potential speaker, I'm afraid they will move forward.
Any help you can give me would be appreciated. I am attaching the call for proposals.

I have personally led workshops in researching Mennonite and Amish genealogy and in fact did it for Palatines to America conferences in years gone by. My husband and I have edited and published the quarterly magazine, Mennonite Family History, since 1982, and have led annual Mennonite/Amish family heritage tours to Europe since 1990. Would you consider me as a speaker?
