Is there a cancellation policy if we register but are unable to attend?
Also, so information on lodging in the area would be appreciated.
I’m looking forward to this exciting meeting!
Thank you to the organizers!

Thank you, Sharon, for these questions. I would think it would be fine to cancel if needed and your funds would be returned (although it is a little more “sticky” to return the bus trip funds unless you/we find a replacement). Everything else could be returned as far as I am concerned! Thanks for understanding.
There is a Holiday Inn here at Morgantown where most persons stay when we have meetings, but there are also good hotels at New Holland and Reading (both about 20 minutes away). You can find hotels by Googling.
Feel free to send any questions at anytime,
Lois Ann Mast

Oh how special . . . the Jacob Mast (Apr. 24, 1850-Mar. 16, 1911) married to your Great-Aunt Christina Weaver, is a descendant of Immigrant Jacob Mast who came to America in 1737. He was an uncle to my husband’s Immigrant Jacob Mast who came to America in 1750.
So your Jacob Mast’s ancestral line is:

I too am a descendant of Immigrant Jacob Mast (b. 1705), through his son
Christian.
If anyone has more information on Rebecca (or Margaret) Fike, I would be
very interested in hearing from you because that's a dead end in my tree.

It is interesting, isn’t it, that three Fike brothers moved to Brothers Valley. Perhaps there is a connection with your Rebecca. One of the speakers at the 2024 SAGA is Duane Kauffman. He did research on the Fikes for his book The Amish of Chester Valley. I notice the Fike name when I research because it remains a northern Berks County name to this day.
Alternate spellings: Feick, Feige, Fyke, Feyt, Feik, Feike, Fikes
Good luck,
Dot Mast Moss
